Clutch replacement

Clutch Repairs

A clutch is a wear item — it will not last forever. We replace clutch kits, release bearings, slave cylinders and dual-mass flywheels on cars and small vans.

It is a big job, so we always confirm the fault first and give you a fixed price before we take anything apart.

What's included

  • Clutch condition check and road test
  • Clutch plate, cover and bearing replaced
  • Dual-mass flywheel checked (replaced if needed)
  • Hydraulics and cable checked
  • Gearbox oil topped up on refit
  • Road test and biting-point adjustment

Typical time in the garage: 4 – 8 hours (often a full day)
